More than

just a market

On Saturday, January 18, 2025, prepare to immerse yourself in a quaint Lunar New Year event that celebrates the Year of the Snake while showcasing the rich diversity of Asian-owned businesses. Join us as we gather to celebrate old traditions in exciting new ways, all within a vibrant and bustling marketplace. 氣氛 [Hey Fun] is an atmosphere; a mood; a flavor; an ambience. And you can be sure that it'll be fun!

As we embrace the spirit of the Snake, a symbol of charm, wisdom and transformation, this joyous occasion is an excellent opportunity for the Asian community to come together and share our customs and heritage with the broader Toronto community.

There will be mini exhibitions around the venue that will showcase the origins and evolution of this celebration throughout different Asian countries, which will provide guests with insights into the Lunar New Year's historical significance. This includes the zodiac cycle, the symbolism behind various traditional foods, and the customs associated with the holiday. Included in the experience is a traditional lion dance, Chinese calligraphy blessings and more!
