...Hey Fun, that is!
Prepare to immerse yourself in a quaint Lunar New Year event that celebrates the Year of the Dragon while showcasing the rich diversity of Asian-owned businesses. Join us as we gather to celebrate old traditions in exciting new ways, all within a vibrant and bustling marketplace. 氣氛 [Hey Fun] is an atmosphere; a mood; a flavor; an ambience. And you can be sure that it'll be fun!⁠

As we embrace the spirit of the Dragon, a symbol of power and good fortune, this joyous occasion is an excellent opportunity for the Asian community to come together and share our customs and heritage with the broader Toronto community

There will be mini exhibitions around the venue that will showcase the origins and evolution of this celebration throughout different Asian countries, which will provide guests with insights into the Lunar New Year's historical significance. This includes the zodiac cycle, the symbolism behind various traditional foods, and the customs associated with the holiday. Included in the experience is a traditional lion dance, Chinese calligraphy blessings and more!

The Details

We are excited to be hosting this event at S3PACE, an Asian-owned event & office space located at 205 Placer Ct , North York.

The market will take place on Saturday January 27th, 2024 from 4pm-11pm. VIP ticket holders will get access to the market for an exclusive shopping experience from 4-5pm before the event opens.

We are expecting 350 to 425 guests!

Spots are very limited and the deadline to respond is November 30th, 2023.

As a Vendor at Hey Fun Market!

  • We are expecting to have 30+ vendor booths at the Hey Fun Market. As a vendor, you will be able to promote your business/organization to attendees of the event.

  • Vendors will be assigned a booth 6 x 2.5' table and one chair

  • A table cloth or banner promoting your business can be fixed on the front end of the table, but nothing can be fixed to the walls.

  • You are allowed a stand up display as long as it does not extend past the perimeter of your booth.

  • Up to 400+ attendees are expected. Please plan accordingly if you are planning to distribute samples or promotional items.

  • The event will be a total of 7 hours. Set up time will start at 12pm. There will be a 1-hour tear down time after the event.

  • Vendors can include corporate favors/promotional items in registration gift bags (up to 425 possible bags given out).

  • Each vendor can have one assistant for the show.

  • We will be marketing and showcasing your business and products leading up to the show on our social media platforms and newsletters, so be sure to provide great photos and your IG handles and website information!

If you are an Asian owned business that makes traditional nostalgic Asian goods or Asian inspired items with a modern twist, we would love to have you at our market! The theme is Lunar New Year so show us your ASIAN INSPIRED goodies!

Things we get excited about:
• Homewares/pottery
• Candles & incense
• Pretty stationery
• Unique gift items
• Snack foods! Bite size, mess minimal, delicious Asian food
• Florals, fresh and potted

If we missed anything cool, please apply!

The fee is $128 and each booth is allowed one assistant for the day. Your fees also include 2 tickets for the event so you can invite family/friends!
